This contribution gives a short insight in the project HOUSE-IN and its learnings from transdisciplinary exchange on housing and integration of migrant newcomers in different European cities. In particular, we will present how we reacted to the changed circumstances due to the war against Ukraine. A special focus is on the case study Leipzig and the conditions of housing and social participation, as well as on the local exchange with the practice partners. This exchange addressed local experience of discrimination in the context of housing and the special challenges and dilemmas in the context of refugee migration from Ukraine.
